A former concrete event facility was transformed into a light-filled, flexible Ford Experience Center that blends hospitality design, immersive brand storytelling, and adaptable spaces for clients and employees.

By Rebecca Dalzell for Interior Design
Designed by Ford’s in-house design director Jennifer Kolstad with Ghafari Associates, the Ford Experience Center in Dearborn reimagines a previously dark structure into a transparent, hospitality-inspired environment. The renovation introduces electrochromic glass, green walls, and daylight-driven circulation, while interior features such as terrazzo flooring, oak seating, and acoustical plaster ceilings support a wide range of events — from product launches to social gatherings — reinforcing Ford’s evolving brand identity.
