Is Radius Track experienced in BIM Design/Technology and 3D Modeling?

With 12 years of unparalleled BIM and 3D modeling experience in the framing industry behind us, Radius Track has very talented designers on staff that are able to assist with 2D and 3D modeling, design applications, blueprint evaluation & take-off, and general project consultation. All of our designers have been specially trained in BIM/IPD (Integrated Project Delivery) and will act as a liaison among your project participants as well as the outside structural engineering firm.

How long will it take to get a proposal?

We pride ourselves on exceptional responsiveness to our customer’s needs. If you have a curved application, and would like to receive a quote, please let us know when you need to have proposal and/or when your bid date is, and we will do everything we can to get you either a full proposal or an estimate when you need it.

What format(s) do my drawings need to be in?

We work with many different programs in order to maximize our design, modeling and estimating services. Here are a few of the standard formats we work with:
Software Program (File Type)
Rhino (.3dm)
SolidWorks (.sldprt)
CAD (.dwg)
Adobe (.pfd)
File Sharing/Other (.dxf, .iges, .tiff, .giff)

While you are welcome to send us your drawings in any of the above formats, they are not all created equal. Rhino, SolidWorks, and even CAD files are preferred because they have data embedded in them that allow us to shortcut the process of determining specifics like wall lengths and radii. These short cuts minimize modeling time and save you money!

Does Radius Track provide structural engineering?

Radius Track utilizes top notch structural engineering firms that have in-depth knowledge of our products, structural capabilities, and a proven track record. These structural engineering firms are able to provide stamped structural calculations for projects anywhere in the United States.
