We understand that you’re often working on very tight schedules and may have meetings and bid dates looming (sometimes in just minutes!). Sure, we’d like to have plenty of time to give you the most detailed and accurate proposal possible, but if you just need a ballpark in a hurry, we’ll always do our best to get you started.
There are two preferred ways to get a quote:
1) Completea Request For Quotation (RFQ) using our Online RFQ Form or download the RFQ form in PDF format and fax it back to us at 763-795-8884. or 2) supply us a material list.
When we receive a completed RFQ form or any standard material list that includes radius, curve type, and material size, gauge, length and quantity we will do our best to send back your proposal within 24 hours.
Send us drawings. When we receive drawings, project scope can have a lot do with how long it takes to create a proposal. Anytime we involve our very talented DIM Design and 3D Modeling department we’ll ask for at least a week to create your proposal, however, we'll always do our best to meet your scheduling requirements.
Lead times for delivery of Curved-Right custom fabricated orders.
After many thousands of jobs, we’ve determined a few "rule of thumb" lead times when it comes to custom orders. What we want you to know first:
At Radius Track we’re absolutely committed to deliver your Curved-Right order on time, as promised. We thoroughly understand that contractors and distributors are often required to meet tight deadlines and we will always do everything we can to help you stay on schedule. From evaluating material specs, to reducing production time, to expediting shipping, we know how important it is to keep the job running and we’ll you’re your requirements our requirements.
Yes, we can guarantee delivery dates. We understand that you occasionally require very specific delivery dates and we'll always do our best to help find you freight solutions that can guarantee dates if that’s what you need.
Please understand that sometimes there's nothing we can do to meet your schedule and we’ll be honest about that. If we know that we can't hit a required lead time, we'll always tell you what we can do before you commit to placing the order. We’d rather turn down an order than make false promises. If a problem delays production on your order, you'll know as soon as we do. No surprises.
So what are the “rule of thumb” lead times?:
Stock Material Orders One week plus shipping time is our preferred standard leadtime on stock material orders.
What’s stock material?
- 10' lengths on track
- Punched studs (our "standard" is unpunched!)
- Standard width and gauge combinations
Special Order Material Two weeks plus shipping time is the standard leadtime on orders with special order material. Why? Because we generally need that extra week to receive the non-stock material from our steel suppliers.
When Structural Engineering is Required Structural engineering typically takes two to three weeks to complete.
- Domes typically require between 7 – 12 weeks for delivery.
- Very Large or Complex Projects Well... there's just no standard here. But don’t worry, we’re very good at organizing production schedules, working by project phases, and making sure that our customer's projects stay on (or ahead) of schedule.
